Recipe to Make a Strawberry Pie

1 / 3 cup flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
3 tablespoons butter
3 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
2/3 cup milk

5 cups quartered fresh strawberries
1/4 cup sugar
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1 tablespoon lemon juice

In a small bowl, combine flour and salt; cut in butter until crumbly. Gradually add sugar, tossing with a fork until mixture forms moist clumps. Gradually add enough flour to form moist clumps. Gently press two-thirds of the mixture into a 9-in. pie plate coated with cooking spray. Reserve remaining crumb mixture for topping. Bake at 400° for 8 minutes. Cool on a wire rack.

In a small saucepan, whisk milk and 2 tablespoons flour until smooth; cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until thickened and bubbly. Cool slightly. Arrange strawberries in crust; spoon-cooked filling over top (do not spread). Sprinkle with reserved crumb mixture. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
